At Landry Designs, no two days are alike, and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. Every morning, designers set out from our studio, each heading into a completely different kind of project. What unites them? A shared purpose to turn houses into homes that reflect the people living in them. Because great design isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about understanding lifestyles, honoring stories, and creating spaces that feel deeply personal. Today, we’re pulling back the curtain on four of our favorite recent projects. From blending bold personalities to solving spatial puzzles, here’s how our designers brought each client’s dream home to life.
1. The Ledbetter Project – A Forever Home with a Colorful Twist
Landry Designs had the pleasure of working with the Ledbetter family for the third time, this time with lead designer Carlie Prewit on their forever home. As beach lovers and avid entertainers, they wanted a modern yet warm space that truly reflected their personality and lifestyle. Knowing this wasn’t a DIY project, they trusted Carlie to balance the wife’s bold and disco-inspired flair with the husband’s sleek and modern taste. With custom pieces, smart color choices and perfect scale for their spacious home, the design came together beautifully. The result? A stylish, curated space that feels 100% them. Debbra summed it up perfectly: “Lisa and her team have decorated 2 of our homes and our new space. Absolutely love everything she does. Always brings our style into her designs.”
We loved bringing their vision to life as much as they loved living in it.
2. The Thrush Project – Peace, Style, and Functionality

When Chris and Dan Thrush finally stepped into their brand-new home, they knew the decor had to be perfect. They’d waited for this moment, dreaming of a space they could truly call their dream home. That’s where lead designer Kim Gardner stepped in. From the very start, Kim got their vision. Chris and Dan wanted a home that was stylish enough to impress, yet cozy enough to unwind after long days. They didn’t want to take on the project themselves. They wanted it done right, and done beautifully. So, they chose Landry Designs. One unique part of the project was weaving in their college sports collection. It wasn’t just about displaying memorabilia, it was about making those pieces feel like a natural part of the home and adding personality without clutter. Kim nailed the balance and created the spaces that felt curated but lived-in. As the process went on, Kim enjoyed getting to know Chris and Dan and designing rooms that truly fit their lifestyle. The living room quickly became their favorite and a perfect spot for entertaining friends and family. In the end, the Thrush family’s home became a stylish sanctuary focused on comfort and personality. As Chris and Dan said it best, “Our old house was comfortable—this one is comfortable but with style.”
3.The Sheldon Project – From Blank Slate to Beautiful

When Kelsey and her partner moved into their new home, they wanted it to reflect everything they’d worked so hard for, and to also give them a peaceful retreat with the demands of their busy careers. With Kelsey working as a surgeon and her partner as a pilot, their home office needed to showcase their accomplishments, but they weren’t sure where to start. And their large primary bedroom? It felt unfinished and mismatched. The couple had tried to tackle the design themselves but quickly realized they needed expert help.
That’s when Tiffany Freeman stepped in, tasked with creating balance and harmony in a spacious bedroom without it feeling crowded. She leaned on large-scale furniture and smart layout choices, like adding a sofa at the foot of the bed in just the right spot to keep the TV view clear. She also preserved their low-profile bedroom furniture, tying it all together with art and lighting. The narrow home office was another tricky spot. Tiffany created custom bookshelves and display zones that celebrated the couple’s careers without overwhelming the space. One of Tiffany’s favorite moments was when the clients showed up for their design selection appointment after long shifts, with their adorable one-year-old baby in tow. In the end, the bedroom stole the show. With luxury blackout curtains and a calming vibe, it became a hotel-like sanctuary perfect for unwinding after those 24-hour shifts. As Kelsey shared, “We had an amazing experience with Tiffany and her team! They made the whole process so easy, and we absolutely love their work. We can’t wait to finish the rest of our home with them.”
4. The Malone Project – A Home That Speaks Their Style

No furniture. No stress. Just a blank slate and big dreams. That’s exactly where Lori Malone found herself after building her modern new home. She didn’t want to bring anything old into her fresh start, and she definitely didn’t want to deal with the hassle of furnishing the whole house herself. So she brought in Landry Designs and let designer Larissa Baggs take it from there. But there was a challenge—with no existing pieces to guide the design, Larissa focused on getting to know Lori’s style and preferences. The goal was to create a home that matched the sleek, contemporary vibe of the new build while giving each room its own unique flair. It wasn’t just about filling space. It was more about curating a look that felt personal, intentional and polished from top to bottom. One of Larissa’s favorite moments was installation day, when she saw Lori light up as each room came to life exactly as imagined. And for Lori, it was the peace of mind that meant everything. In her own words: “There was absolutely no stress of shopping, deliveries, assembly, and moving things into place. They handled everything. I am now spoiled!”
Designing rooms that reflect people’s lives always feels fresh, but what truly makes the work meaningful is the people themselves. From clients who trusted us to blend disco flair with sleek modern minimalism, to those who arrived at their design appointment after a 24-hour shift with a one-year-old in tow, every project carried a heartbeat of its own. The best part? Seeing their faces light up on installation day. Those wide smiles and quiet moments of awe never get old!
At Landry Designs, we don’t just decorate homes – we design around your life, your style, and your story. Want to see what that looks like in your space? Reach out today for a complimentary consultation.
